Mike Jenkins is a music educator, audio engineer, composer, and performer from Reno, Nevada. He started teaching private guitar lessons and music tutoring in 2008 and was the teaching assistant to the recording arts classes at the University of Nevada, Reno during both his undergraduate and graduate studies. Additionally, he has worked in a variety of public school settings and is a licensed social studies teacher as well. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education. As an audio engineer, he has worked in video broadcast, film post production, live sound, and most notably studio recording. He is also the Second Engineer at Imirage Sound Labs in Reno, where his clients have included Mike Love and the Beach Boys, Whitesnake, Doug Clifford of Credence Clearwater Revisited, as well as many other artists from Northern California and Nevada. In his time off, Mike enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, and working on his car.
