Lisa Fahncke began working with English language learners in South Korea 2006. She was promoted to Head of English for a public school district outside of Seoul, then moved to China to develop IB curriculum for a private boarding school. While in China, she held the title of Secretary of the International Organization of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language, and was the Foreign Language Expert of the National Basic Foreign Language Teaching Research Centre in Beijing.
In Japan, Lisa taught college level English, before moving to the Reno/Tahoe area to follow her passion for snowboarding, kayaking, and mountain biking. She has spent the last four years teaching college level ESL classes.
