Our Trip to Six Flags and the Capital:
On October 18, students, faculty, and dorm parents left SVA for an exciting two day trip to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, California, and the State Capitol in Sacramento, California.

Six Flags proved to be very popular with students and staff alike, and the sunshine and 75 degree day added to the overall positive vibe. The SVA family enthusiastically braved long lines for a chance to experience a taste of kryptonite: the intimidating Superman roller-coaster. Students also conquered their fears on the 150 foot tall Sky Screamer swings, Thunder Road Speedway Go-Carts, and the terrifying Medusa roller-coaster. After leaving Six Flags, everyone enjoyed their dinner of choice at Nut Tree Plaza in Vacaville, California. We ended the day with a trip to the movies, where students saw either Pan or Hotel Transylvania 2. Click here to read more.
