Winter is here!

Juniors Michael and Ivan first learned to snowboard in November 2015, and both see big improvements in their skills. Michael told us, “I can now do a circular rail slide on a metal obstacle in one run.” Ivan’s improvement was more general, but very important. “Stability in general is what I improved on and doing tricks.” Michael is able to stick a 360, while Ivan can do a front flip. When asked what their favorite part of the season has been, Michael told us, “Powder days, the day right after a storm because it’s fresh snow which makes it more fun.”Ivan enjoys a sunny day, telling us, “Riding in extra sunny weather in the park, where they have jumps, has been my favorite thing this season.” Michael, Ivan, and the rest of the SVA family are looking forward to a snowy season ahead.
